HOLISTIC PRACTICE
PHILOSOPHY

Osteopathy is rooted in the concepts of holism. As a Manual Osteopathic Practitioner, Pamela recognizes that any pattern of disharmony in any aspect of a person resonates through all levels of a being. It is the harmonious functioning of all aspects of an individual, within themselves and their environment, that is essential to health.

Manual Osteopathy uses a variety of non-invasive, hands-on techniques to address imbalances from a whole-body perspective, alleviating pain and dysfunction. This includes treating the musculoskeletal, fascial, visceral, circulatory, and lymphatic systems of the body to maintain and restore structural balance and health. A Manual Osteopathic Practitioner’s primary goal is to determine the root cause of a condition and provide gentle, effective treatment to alleviate discomfort and bring the body back into its innate balance. By reducing areas of restriction in the body, restoring mobility and improving function within the body systems the client will experience a reduction in inflammation, optimal blood circulation, lymphatic drainage and improved nervous system regulation.
